What are common cold ? Common cold is an infection. It is an minor infection or in other words It is an illness affecting your nose and throat. The main cause of this illness is germs which is called virus. These germs or virus caused common cold.

Common cold symptoms

Common cold symptoms start 2 or 3 days. When you suffer common cold, then some common cold symptoms occur, like runny nose, sneezing, headache, watering in eyes, fever and sore throat and some time coughing. These are very irritating and panful symptoms and make you very sensitive and week.

1.Sneezing

Sneezing is a common cols symptom and its very painful for the people who suffer cold disease. Their nose become red and dry. And due to common cold people become sensitive and polite.

2.Sore throat

When you suffer common cold symptoms then your body become dehydrate. Therefore your throat become dry due to the dehydration. Then you fell pain in your throat and stay in very bad condition. You wants hot drinks and hot food because you fell good when you eat or drink hot food or drink like tea and healthy soups.

3.Coughing

Coughing is a very irritating symptom in common cold’s symptoms. This happened due to the dehydration and throat becomes dry and rough. We should used more quantity of water during the cold.

4. Watering in eyes

During common cold watering eyes occur because of congestion and nasal drip which irritate the eyes a lot. Eyes are very sensitive part of body and clod attacks sensitive parts of body like eyes, nose and throat.

5. Headache

When a person suffer cold disease then sinus congestion and viral infection cause headache. It happened because cuscus build up in the sinuses that is way they lead to pressure and a headache.

Causes of cold symptoms

There are many reasons that may be causes of common cold symptoms. In which allergies, sinus congestion, bacterial infection, COVID-19, pollution and environmental infections are included.

Here are some serious causes of common cold symptoms.

1. Allergies

There are many types of allergies like dust allergy, pet dander allergy and other allergies can caused cold in which sneezing, running nose or other symptoms are included.

2. Bacterial infections

Bacterial infections is a very serious cause of common cold symptoms. This infection cause the ear infection as well as throat infection.

3. Environmental irritants

In environmental allergies include smocking, pollution and odors can cause common cold. It may cause stuffy nose and then sneezing or coughing.

4. Pollution

The big reason of common cold is pollution it may be dust pollution or air pollution. Dust pollution cause coughing and air pollution may cause watering in eyes or headache.

Treatments of common cold symptoms

When you suffer common cold and common cold symptoms. You should care of your self by home remedies or by hydration and healthy diet. Its all depend on your immune system. So it is very important to take care of your self. Take rest and wash your hands 2 time a day. Wear need and clean clothes and wear hot shawl around your body that heat up your body and you fell very relaxed and comfortable.

1. Self care

  • Use warm water
  • Hydrate your body
  • Take rest during cold
  • Take proper nutritions
  • Avoid fast foods and cold drinks
  • Avoid smoking and alcohol

2. Home remedies

  • Take a cup of water in pain and add some garlic and ginger in it. Also add some leaves of mint and boil it 5 minutes. Use this mixed natural tea 2 time in a day.
  • Take a cup of warm water and add a pack of Joshanda and mix it with the help of spoon. It is easy to make and use this 2 time a day.
  • Use of soups also help in cold and soups are easy to make and very healthy to eat especially in common cold. Chicken soup and vegetable soup is best and healthy.

3. Hands hygiene

It is very good habit to wash your hands. These habits prevent the spread of disease and protect us. Hygiene refer to practices or a good conditions which maintain health.

4. Rest and hydration

Rest and hydration is much important in common cold. So it is necessary to staying hydrated by drinking 12 glasses of water daily. Plenty of fluid help to moisturize our throat. And rest helps in fast recovery process.

5. Boosting immunity

It is important to eat healthy diet. Because health is wealth and healthy diet helps in boosting immunity. Use of the Protein rich foods, vegetables and fruits are increase immunity level. Carrot and beetroot juice also helps to boost immune system.

Dry foods also help to boost immune system. It is good to add mushroom, eggs, nuts, meat and fish in your daily diet especially in winters.
